Oyekanmi Jagun is the Chief Human Resource Officer of Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc (AEDC), bringing over 20 years of progressive experience in human resources across the manufacturing, commercial, and FMCG sectors. She is a seasoned HR leader with extensive expertise spanning HR Strategy, Business Partnering, Rewards, HR Shared Services, and Talent Development.
Prior to joining AEDC, Oyekanmi served as Head, Rewards & Shared Services at CHI Limited, a member of the UAC Group. She previously held key human resource leadership roles at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, Lontor Hi-Tech Development Company Limited, and Honeywell Flour Mills Plc, where she partnered with business leaders to drive strategic people initiatives across commercial, supply chain, support, and operations functions.
She holds an Executive MBA from Rome Business School, a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Olabisi Onabanjo University, and a Diploma in Accounting. Oyekanmi is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) and has completed executive development programmes in management, leadership, and communication at the European Business Institute and Lagos Business School.
As Chief Human Resource Officer, Oyekanmi leads the Human Resources function and is responsible for driving the execution of AEDC's Human Capital Strategy, fostering a high-performance culture, strengthening organizational capability, and advancing initiatives that support the Company's transformation and long-term business objectives.
