She has over 23 years' experience in various sectors including professional and financial services. Before her appointment with AEDC, Jumoke was the Acting Company Secretary/Corporate Legal Counsel/ Chief Compliance Officer with The Infrastructure Bank Plc. (TIB) where she spent over six years in various roles including Transaction Counsel and Investment Officer. She successfully re-organized the Corporate Legal Department for effectiveness resulting in proper record keeping; drafting of comprehensive mandates and infrastructure-related agreements; development of corporate policies, elimination of penalties previously paid to regulators, and accurate/timely recording of minutes of meetings. She was a key player in the successful transformation of TIB from being a state-owned enterprise to an efficient private sector-led institution. Before joining TIB, she had also worked with Citigroup Nigeria as the Legal & Compliance Officer of the Commercial Banking Group and with Citigroup London, as a Financial Analyst. Jumoke has a law degree (1992) and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1993. She holds a Master's degree in Banking & Finance Law from Queen Mary College, University of London, and is qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales and an Attorney & Counsel at Law with the State of New York, USA.
Jumoke is responsible for providing legal structuring, strategy, and advisory services; developing effective contractual frameworks for engagements with counterparties; conducting fruitful Board and Management meetings, facilitating the resolution of corporate disputes, and aid corporate compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
