Mr. Osadolor (fondly referred as VO) is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), a seasoned banker, a strategic thinker and a turn-around specialist. Mr. Victor Osadolor chairs the Board of UBA Pension Custodian Limited and serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Boards of the African Finance Corporation (AFC), Lagos, Nigeria and CenPower Holdings Limited in Accra, Ghana. Until his retirement from active service in 2020, VO was the Deputy Group Managing Director of United Bank for Africa (UBA) PLC.

VO started his career with Price Waterhouse Coopers PWC in 1989 and later moved over to the banking industry where he spent almost 30 years working with Guaranty Trust Bank, Ecobank Nigeria, ETI Togo and UBA PLC. VO rose to the position of an Executive Director in record time in 2002 and played pivotal roles in this capacity for over 17 years overseeing Strategy, Business, Finance, Risk, Treasury, HR, Operations and IT across the banks where he worked.

VO also led the team that orchestrated the first mega bank merger in Nigeria between UBA and Standard Trust Limited, helped to procure the banking license for UBA in the UK and oversaw UBA’s operations across 19 countries in Africa.

Apart from being a Fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Victor Osadolor holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Accounting (2nd Class Upper Division) from the University of Benin, an M.Sc Finance/Economic Policy from SOAS, University of London (in view), an alumnus of Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program, the Wharton Business School CEO program, IMD
