Mr. Sam Adikamkwu is a legal practitioner of over 35 years experience. He holds LL.M and Msc degrees. He holds various academic awards including Best graduating law student of his Faculty and the Overall Best Graduating Student of the Nigerian Law School in 1986.

He was a law a lecturer and Ag. Head of Commercial Law of the then Bendel State University (now Ambrose Alli University) Ekpoma before joining the then Standard Trust Bank Plc (STB) in 1997. He moved over to United Bank for Africa (UBA) in 2005 following the merger of STB and UBA. He rose to become the Group Legal Counsel overseeing all legal issues in the UBA Group involving the Group's operations in Nigeria, the rest of Africa, UK and the USA. He retired from the bank in 2019 and is now into active legal practice. He is a member of various professional bodies including the Nigerian Bar and International Bar Associations, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and Fellow, Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators.
