Engr. Chijioke Okwuokenye is the Acting Managing Director/CEO of Abuja Electricity DistributionPlc (AEDC). With over 15 years in the power sector, he previously served as Chief Operating Officer, driving operational efficiency and strategic initiatives. Before AEDC, he was Vice President of Engineering at Konexa, where he led transformative projects to enhance energy solutions and profitability.

Engr. Chijioke’s career began at the Power Holding Company of Nigeria and included key roles at Income Electrix Limited and Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Plc, where he excelled in strategic projects and commercial operations. He holds a degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering from the University of Benin, a Master’s in Electrical Engineering, and an MBA in Business Administration.
