CLARA MUSAMA - CHIEF CHANGE MANAGEMENT

Clara has over 18 years of work experience in various disciplines including business development, stakeholder relations, business analysis, business process reengineering, performance management, procurement, contract management, and execution. She has hands-on experience in project coordination and the successful closure of multi-million US$ projects in West Africa and Zambia. Clara is the Coordinator for the Change management programme that AEDC has embarked on. She is responsible for the business process reengineering project and the business transformation project. Before taking up her current role in AEDC, Clara was Director –Corporate Services for Copperbelt Energy Nigeria and was responsible for CECA's business development activities in Nigeria and implementing post-acquisition activities for the Nigeria assets. She also led many business process reengineering and change management activities in some functions at Abuja Electricity. Furthermore, she was responsible for the establishment and provided leadership for the corporate administration of Copperbelt Energy Nigeria. Clara also held the role of Business Development Manager, where she was part of the team that project managed CECA's successful acquisition of equity in two power assets in Nigeria.

Also, she pioneered the establishment of the investor relations function which successfully managed relationships with the over 3500 shareholders and potential investors in CEC. Clara was Investor relations lead on the Initial Public Offer of CEC and subsequent listing of the company on the Lusaka Stock Exchange a transaction which at the time was the largest IPO on LUSE in January 2008 and raised $28m Clara has also previously held roles in Public Relations and Procurement functions in CEC. She holds a BA Degree (Economics), MSC (Finance & Financial Law), Diploma in Management Studies, and Certificate in Investor Relations. She is also a certified Change Management Professional.
